Good to know
Frequently asked questions.
The questions we hear most from clients importing and branding promotional products — if yours isn’t here, just email sales@poprunner.com.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ vary by product and factory, but most classic promotional items start around 500 pieces, while fully custom products typically require 1000+ to keep unit pricing reasonable. We’ll always confirm the exact MOQ as part of your quotation. Higher price per piece items requires lower MOQ.
How long does production and delivery take?
Classic, ready-made items usually ship within 1 week. Custom-made products take longer — typically 4 weeks for production, plus sea or air freight time to EU. We’ll give you a realistic timeline before you confirm the order.
Can I get a sample before placing a full order?
Yes. For most items we can arrange a pre-production or stock sample so you can check quality, color and branding before committing to the full production run. Sample costs and lead times depend on the product.
What branding methods do you offer?
Screen printing, pad printing, laser engraving, embroidery, debossing, and full-color digital printing. We’ll recommend the method that gives the best result and durability for your chosen item.
Are your products compliant with EU safety standards?
Yes — products intended for the EU market are sourced to meet relevant CE marking and REACH requirements, and we can request test reports or certificates from the supplier where applicable, particularly for children’s items, electronics, and food-contact products.
What incoterms do you work with?
Most commonly DDP city of delivery, so all included. We’ll agree the incoterm upfront so there are no surprises in the final cost.
How is quality checked before shipping?
Every order goes through an in-line check during production and a pre-shipment inspection before it leaves the factory, covering quantity, print/branding accuracy, and general workmanship, so issues are caught before goods are on the water or in the air.
What payment terms do you accept?
Typically a deposit (usually 30–50%) to confirm production, with the balance due before shipment or on delivery, depending on the order size and client relationship. Payment is by bank transfer; other arrangements can be discussed for larger or recurring orders.
Do you handle customs clearance and logistics?
Yes — under DDP terms we manage freight, customs clearance, and delivery to your address in in the EU. If you prefer to use your own freight forwarder, we’re happy to work under FCA or FOB instead.
What happens if a product arrives damaged or doesn’t match the sample?
Let us know as soon as possible with photos of the affected items. Since every order is quality-checked and, where relevant, matched against an approved sample beforehand, discrepancies are rare — but if something’s wrong, we’ll work with the supplier on a reprint, replacement, or credit.
